CAKE ATELIER Copenhagen

Where baking becomes an art form

A creative studio where artistic buttercream cakes and workshops come together through colour, texture, intuition and handmade process.

The story

Where it all began

Cake Atelier Copenhagen was born at the intersection of two worlds that have always grounded me: the kitchen and the studio.

I didn’t come from a traditional pastry background. My journey started in quieter, more personal moments — cooking to slow down, baking to feel present, painting to express what words couldn’t.

Over time, those worlds began to blur. Colours found their way into buttercream. Textures moved from canvas to cake. And what once felt like separate passions became one creative language.

The process

Baking as a quiet ritual

Baking and cooking have always been my safe space. A place to disconnect from noise, to focus on the simple rhythm of creating something with my hands.

Mixing, whisking, waiting — it’s meditative, grounding, almost therapeutic.

The process itself matters deeply to me. It is slow, intentional, and rooted in care long before a cake takes its final shape.

Artistic language

Colour, texture and intuition

Painting is where I allow myself to play. Bold colours, abstract forms, imperfect brushstrokes.

It taught me to trust intuition, to let go of perfection, and to see beauty in movement and emotion rather than symmetry.

That way of seeing naturally found its place in cake design, shaping a style that feels expressive, alive and deeply personal.

The cakes

Each cake as a canvas

Cake Atelier is where these two worlds meet.

Each cake is treated as a canvas — not designed to be rigid or overly polished, but expressive, colourful, and full of life.

I take inspiration from art, nature, textures, colour palettes and moods, translating them into edible form through buttercream, layering and movement. My cakes are meant to feel joyful and alive, just like a painting you want to linger in.

From the first idea to the final detail, every cake is created slowly and intentionally, with respect for both flavour and form. What you see on the outside is a reflection of the care that goes into every step.

Workshops

Sharing the creative process

As Cake Atelier grew, something else became clear: I didn’t just want to create cakes — I wanted to share the process.

That’s how the cake decorating workshops were born.

Workshops are an extension of the atelier philosophy: a space to slow down, experiment, make mistakes, and enjoy creating with your hands. No pressure, no need for experience — just curiosity, colour, and the joy of making something uniquely yours. Just like painting, but edible.

Cake Atelier is not only about cakes. It’s about creativity, connection, and celebrating the beauty of imperfect, handmade things.

And I’m so happy you’re here, being part of the story.
